Enjoy life at Rancho Cancio |
When it
comes to ultimate relaxation, soul-searching, or just escaping city life in a
bit, the island of Cebu has a lot to offer. Aside from the wonderful beaches
and resorts, malls, and luxury hotels, Cebu can also offer nature-tripping with
its lush greens, cool waterfalls, and mountains that is pleasing to the soul.
I happen
to discover a new private place called Rancho Cancio located among the
mountains of Adlaon Busay,Cebu. It took us about an hour in a private vehicle
to get to the place starting the journey at JY Square in Lahug. I heard the place was open to the public
earlier in 2015 and news has been spreading like wildfire. By the time our team tried to book the place,
the whole calendar month was already full but luckily our schedule was squeezed
in.
I was
enjoying the road trip as the fast-paced city life slowly disappeared as our
vehicle started to climb the mountain ranges of Busay. I am a beach-lover but the mountains' calling has a
different vibe too. Seeing a lot of greens, vast landscape, huge mountains and
the unpolluted breeze provides recharging energy to your soul.
The place
was private-owned but the owners are kind enough to open it to the public.
The place is good for team-buildings, weddings, parties, small events, or simply rent the place to enjoy solitude and away from the city life. They can
accommodate at least 10 to 22 guests. Accommodation per head is as low as
P650 plus P250 per head for the food (per meal). Two rooms with double-deck beds are
available for the guests. The amenities are awesome too. They have an indoor
kitchen, dining area, wide lawn for games fit for team-building activities,
billiard table, and yes the infinity pool which gives you a wonderful time
enjoying the sky, water, and the mountains.
The place is perfect for group accommodations like weddings, parties and team-building. |

Getting there:
Your journey starts from JY Square Mall heading to the mountains of Busay thru the transcentral highway. I suggest you'd travel via a private vehicle. The owners can also direct you on the detailed way on how to get to the place. You may contact me for the owner's contact numbers for your reservations.
